Lots going on over here at Sexplainer headquarters! One day I’ll tell y’all what HQ looks like and you’ll laugh. But for now, here’s an update:
This Saturday I am going to be a speaker at a local TEDx event. Eventually it will be on line and if I’m not horrified by the result, I will pass it around.
I was selected as a top BC parenting blogger by Chatterblock. I’m delighted by that!
I’m also psyched to announce two new ‘products’ that I’m offering. One is a Salon – a facilitated conversation kind of event that people like you can host. Invite a bunch of friends, or parents from little Billy’s class, pour a glass of wine for everyone and start talking about raising sexually intelligent kids. Sadly, I can’t be everywhere so am mostly limited to providing this service in Greater Vancouver. That being said, if a community elsewhere can find a couple or few Salons for me to facilitate, I have rolly luggage!
The other offering is below. Sexplain THAT! is an on-line program so everyone can be a part of building skills for raising sexually intelligent kids. Please consider registering and encourage others (facebook! twitter! email!) who you think might benefit too. This one will focus on building skills for our interactions with younger kids (under 8). I’ll be developing one for 8-12 and 13-16 years olds too.
Next week I return to weekly blog posts. Stay tuned!
